Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2 August 2026
These terms govern your use of templit — our add-on for SAP Business One and the service behind it. By installing the add-on, entering an API key, or clicking "OK" on the setup prompt, you agree to these terms on behalf of the company you represent. If you don't agree, please don't use templit. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
templit is at pilot stage. It is not sold yet, there is no company behind it yet, and it is being trialled free with a small number of SAP Business One partners. These terms are written for that evaluation — not as a commercial software agreement. Anything to do with money, service levels, or a signed contract gets agreed separately and in writing before it applies to you.
What templit does
templit is an add-on installed inside SAP Business One. You give it one sample invoice per supplier and choose which fields to capture; templit builds a template from that sample. From then on, dropping a matching invoice onto SAP creates an A/P Invoice draft — never a posted document. You review and post every draft yourself; templit does not post anything to your books on its own.
Extraction is a tool to speed up data entry, not a replacement for your own review. You're responsible for checking each draft against the source invoice before posting it, the same way you would check any entry made by a member of your team.
The pilot: what it costs and what it doesn't promise
- The pilot is free. We are not charging for templit, and we will not start charging you without agreeing it with you in writing first.
- Access is tied to an API key we issue to your company. We may issue, replace, or withdraw it during the evaluation.
- The add-on counts a template credit each time you create or update a template. During the pilot those credits cost you nothing — they exist so the mechanism can be tested, and we top them up on request.
- Importing invoices is unlimited and never uses credits, because that processing runs entirely on your own system.
- There is no service level and no uptime commitment. templit runs on evaluation infrastructure and may be slow, interrupted, or reset while we work on it.
- Pricing, plans, and commercial terms come later, agreed in writing. Nothing on our website is an offer or a price quote.
Your account and API key
Your company is issued a single API key that authenticates the add-on. You're responsible for keeping it confidential and for all activity that happens using it. Contact us immediately if you believe it has been exposed, and we'll issue a new one.
Acceptable use
templit is for processing your own company's genuine supplier invoices inside a properly licensed SAP Business One installation. You agree not to use it to process documents you don't have the right to handle, not to attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or resell the extraction engine or templates themselves, and not to use the service in a way that disrupts it for other customers.
Ownership
Your invoices, the data on them, and the SAP Business One documents templit creates for you are yours. templit and its underlying software, including the extraction engine and the templates it generates, belong to us; your subscription gives you the right to use them, not to copy or redistribute them.
No warranty
templit is provided "as is," and during a pilot that means what it says. Extraction accuracy depends on the quality and consistency of the invoices you feed it, and we don't guarantee it will be error-free — which is exactly why every result lands as a draft for you to review, not a posted document. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or available at all times.
Please don't rely on templit as the only route into your accounts payable while it is being evaluated. Keep whatever process you use today working alongside it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to templit is limited to what you have paid us for it — which, during a free pilot, is nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost data, including where a draft you did not review turns out to be wrong.
Ending the pilot, and your data
Either of us can end the evaluation at any time, for any reason and without notice — you by uninstalling the add-on, us by withdrawing your API key. Nothing is owed either way.
When a pilot ends we delete the sample invoices and account record we hold for you, and you can ask us to do it sooner at any point. The templates themselves live in your own SAP database, so they stay with you either way. See the Privacy Policy for what we hold and for how long.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as templit changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we'll try to notify active customers directly.
Governing law
templit does not yet operate through a registered legal entity, so these terms name no governing jurisdiction and are not a substitute for a contract. If your organisation needs something signed before you can evaluate software, tell us — we would rather agree a short written pilot arrangement with you than have you rely on a web page.
